Digital Video Recorders (DVRs)
Also called a Personal Video Recorders (PVRs), these are the newest “must have” 
device for the home PC builder or week-end electronic "nut". (yes, I am one too)
Similar in functionality to a Tivo, but without the monthly $12 charge, you are able to capture TV programs on a hard drive and play them back, on your TV any time you want.
And you can add a lot more cool features that can turn your basic PC from a DVR to a total entertainment device.
